After 27 years of continuous service to the Tri-Valley Board of Directors, Mr. Herb Mauritson has resigned and his resignation was regretfully accepted by the Board at its regularly scheduled meeting of September 10, 2009.
Herb Mauriston is a lifelong resident of Shelly, MN which is located in Norman County. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 1982 and has served in just about every capacity the Board has to offer included two terms as Chairman. Not only did Mr. Mauritson serve on the Board of Tri-Valley but he also served on numerous committees and subcommittees in the Senior, Housing and Community Services divisions of Tri-Valley.
Dennis P. DeMers (CEO of Tri-Valley) noted that, “It simply won’t be the same without Herb. He has been here forever, knows the ins and outs of what we do, pays attention to detail and has always asked tough questions. We certainly wish Herb well but want him to know that the door is always open and the coffee on for him. He has been a rock of leadership and consistency for Tri-Valley and will never be forgotten.”
