Carlson Departing Tri-Valley; Reynolds Named Interim CEO

(Crookston, Minn.)- Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc. announces that Chief Executive Officer Jason Carlson will be departing the organization to pursue a new opportunity outside of the Community Action network. Carlson will continue to lead the agency through June 20, 2025, ensuring a smooth transition.

The Tri-Valley Board of Directors has named Charles “Corky” Reynolds as Interim CEO, pending approval from Head Start. Reynolds will assume leadership responsibilities as the agency begins a formal search for a permanent CEO.

Reynolds served as Tri-Valley’s attorney for many years until his retirement. He’s recently been serving as a consultant to the agency and was the City of Crookston’s interim and full-time City Administrator from 2022-2024.

Tri-Valley has engaged Pierson Henry, a search firm with extensive experience working in rural Minnesota, to help find a new permanent replacement for Carlson.
