Tri-Valley Transportation recently held a new event for bus drivers, bringing together drivers for a day of friendly competition, skill-building, and fun.
The event challenged participants to navigate a course designed to test precision driving skills that are used every day while serving passengers. Drivers maneuvered through a variety of obstacles that highlighted the importance of safety, awareness, and vehicle control.
While the event included a competitive element, the primary goal was to provide a positive learning experience and identify opportunities for continued training and development. The course gave drivers the chance to sharpen their skills in a supportive environment while connecting with coworkers and enjoying some friendly rivalry.
One thing everyone quickly learned was that the course was more difficult than it looked. Even experienced drivers found the challenges required concentration, patience, and confidence under pressure.
