ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Known locally as fuel assistance, this program helps income eligible households with their home energy bills.  Assistance may include bill payment assistance, emergency assistance and energy related home repairs – fixing or replacing furnaces for those families that own their home.  Any Minnesota resident may apply for the program from October 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023. For more information, click here to go to the Minnesota Department of Commerce Energy Assistance web page.

SERVICE AREA: Minnesota counties of West Marshall, West Polk, and Norman Counties

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Households are served based on such factors as household size, income, and heating history for the previous year.  To see if you would be eligible go to the web site listed below for income guidelines.
